The combined living room and dining room
The spacious living and dining room area is the pride of holiday house chalet Les Buchilles in Taninges. In this large open space you can easily dine with up to eight people or just relax in the lounge near the open fire place.
There is a cupboard containing a variety of board games and in the winter there is also a basket full of wood just ready for you to light the fire.
The kitchen
The open kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher; induction cooking hob and oven; a microwave and a fridge freezer. In addition there are numerous other smaller electrical appliances such as a kettle, a food mixer plus a Nespresso coffee machine and of course everything for you to prepare and serve up a Swiss Savoyarde cheese fondue! Finally, there is an extensive crockery and cutlery set with a variety of glassware and condiments. Just like home!
The bedrooms
Bedroom one, 2-persons
Located on the ground floor there is a large bedroom for up to two persons with a queen size bed and built-in wardrobes. The ensuite bathroom is equipped with a shower, basin and toilet
Bedroom two, 2-persons
The second bedroom is on the first floor. This spacious room has a queen size bed and built-in wardrobes. If you need do a little work during your stay there is also a desk here with access to the WiFi
Bedroom three, 4-persons
On the first floor you will also find the third bedroom with 4 single beds.
Bathroom on the first floor
The bathroom located on the first floor is shared between the bedroom two and three. The bathroom is equipped with a bath, walk-in shower and a basin. The separate toilet is just across the hallway from the bathroom.
Hotel service
Chalet Les Buchilles provides hotel service. When you arrive the beds will be made up with satin sheets and two sets of towels per person provided. There is also a supply of Nespresso cups and the kitchen is supplied with basic ingredients such as olive oil and condiments. All there to make you feel at home!
Luxurious and sustainable
The holiday house chalet was constructed in 2017 meeting the highest sustainability standards. It is entirely made of wood and perfectly insulated. A heat pump provides warm water and central heating which is further complimented by the fireplace in the living room. We have also installed an electric vehicle charging point for your electric car!
The garden area – Jacuzzi plus swimming pool/spa
Holiday House chalet Les Buchilles has a large garden with amazing views of the mountains of the Grand Massif.
And, there is a jacuzzi and heated swimming pool for year round usage. The total size of the swimspa (including the jacuzzi) is 7,90m by 2,27m
Garage
Adjacent to the storage area you will find the garage. You can park your car inside by using the remote control provided with the keys of the house. You can also place your skis there overnight for them to dry.
This is also the place where we separate the waste.
Storage area
The storage area can be accessed from the main hallway where the heat pump is located. This is a relatively warm room so ideal for drying your wet clothes, ski boots, gloves and helmets on the storage shelves that we have provided. Also here you will find the washing machine and dryer.
